Tyler Allison 1st week

Hey family,
Wow where to begin! I don't even know how to express my thoughts and feelings over this. I'm loving this so so so so so so so much!!! Really I can't ever stop smiling! I love being a representive of Christ :) and to be a missionero de la iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los ultimos dias :) Well the launguage jajaja it's really the hardest part of being here, it's been really tough on me. But i gave myself about 2 days to be sorry for myself.  Then i forgot about and stopped worrying so much.  I have learned a lot a lot a lot about patience in personal study. Preach My Gospel ch. 6 is golden.    I know Heavenly Father is totally looking out for me! I can feel him with me each and every day, and the spirit is unmatched here!! I love it so so much!  Some sweet stories for ya, wish i could share every thing with you. thats what is hardest for me is not being able to come home at night and tell you everything because there has been so many awesome things :) But I finished the b.o.m. and I had an absoulutly amazing amazing experience. I will definitely share with you when i get home. It built my testimony of the b.o.m. to the moon and back. Following Moroni 10:3-5 :)
So my companion is the bomb, we get along really well he's a super nice kid and really really good at spanish. all 8 of us in my district are going to MCNW which is unheard of for everyone in the district to go to the same place. it's so awesome. My companion is probably the best at spanish of all of us, and i am about the worst jaja so it works out real well. jaja. i like saying jaja. jaja. anyways I am working really hard on the launguage but making sure i get more gospel study than launguage cause that is a problem with a lot of people. I'm putting trust in the Lord. Having hope :) but still working and studying really hard on spanish dont you worry.
So on Friday we had our first lesson with our investigator. yes you heard that right. 2 days after we got here we had to teach, all in spanish. It's cool because she is a real investigator ( not really but they do a great job of making us think so) and plus it's so much better if you treat her like it's really true. Anyways My companion does most of the talking (oh we have now had 5 lessons with her. one a day) but I try and listen to the spirit and use my "tarzan spanish" as much as i possibly can.  I am actually pretty good at praying and bearing my testimony.  Well any way on the 3rd we challenged her to baptism! she accepted!!! :) now i know by all means its not a competition..... but me and my companion were the first and only to get her to baptism... so ya we try and rock it.  Pretty much all i can bring to the table is try and portray the spirit as much as i can.  Oh and neat experience. Yesterday lesson 5 we had to teach her about chastity (Akward right?!??!?!?!) and word of wisdom and then tithing. Well during tithing i could sense it wasn't going great... and trying to listen to what she was saying back and forth with my companion. and I felt a strong impression to share how i paid my tithing while saving for my mission and it was not easy at all but i did. and i teared up then cried like a baby because i was sharing how the lord will bless tithing payers and how he has helped me.. i was scared she was going to be a little creeped out but after my story i said lo siento (sorry) but to my suprise she said (bonito) Beautiful. so i guess she liked it. we committed her to live all those laws and she is :) yay. oh this is what i said cause i wrote it down so i could always remember the moment.. again. this is me at my best tarzan spanish. Hope that makes sense. if not plug it into google translate. jaja it wouldn't translate it, it's so bad probably. but really really I have totally felt the gift of tounges in my lessons and in remembering things. I know the lord blesses hard working obedient missionaries and i am giving my all to be that!! :) I love this work so so very much and although i miss you guys like a crazy lot there is no chance in this world I'm coming home until my work here is done!!! I can't wait for the joy and happiness i will feel when it's an actuall investigator. No one could wipe the smile off my face when i came out of that lesson. To think how it's going to be when i'm actually in mexico gives me the chills!!!! The spanish is coming little by little. I am having a ton of fun! my district is awesome! we're all way different, but it's ok i love them.   so yes i am definitely having a fun time in between all this learning :) I played soccer.. wow it reminded me of elementry soccer. There is about 2 people that are good the rest muy mal. but i loved it. just good to get out and move.
I love you all. and know that if you stay close to Heavenly Father you will be so happy in your life!! :) I sure am :) I pray for you every single day individually, feel free to send prayers my way, it could sure help with the launguage. I know you are! love you to pieces!
Love you,
-ELDER Allison :)
